How does it feel when ...

there is no shoulder to cry on
and you want to cry.

there is no one to support you
and you are about to fall.

there is no one even to pat you
and you want to hear attaboy.

there is no one to talk to
and you want to share so much.

there is no one to apologise
and you want to forgive.

there is no one to listen
and you want to say sorry.


I know, I know how it feels.
It feels insecure.

But why is there no one ?
Was there ever no one ?


Or ...

there was a shoulder to cry on
but you pushed it away.

there were many to support you
but you stood alone.

there were many to pat you
but you weren't praiseworthy.

there were many to talk to
but you decided to stay mum.

there was someone who apologized
but you would never forgive.

there was someone who wanted to listen
but you would never say sorry.


I know, I know how it feels.
It feels ...

Love ?

Sometimes I feel that
I'm in love with you.
But then I realize that
NO this can't be true.

Sometimes you hint me that
you are in love with me.
But I guess that
this just can't be !

I was there for you
when you needed me.
You were there for me
when I needed you.

Remember those days when
we were of little height ?
Playing in our garden
till it was twilight.

Me and you grew older.
The bond got stronger.
But I could never say to you
that I was in love with you.

You reflected but I resisted.
This can't happen, I knew.
You are my sister,
I can't be in love with you !
